Players’ agent Mino Raiola says that he could remain at Juventus, but there are several reasons why should the new United manager Jose Mourinho pay a record sum for a 23-year-old vice champion of Euro 2016.

1. Top quality
Pogba went to Juventus for free in 2012, after he played under Ferguson for first team only seven times and even as a substitute. Since then, he won four times Serie A, twice Coppa Italia, two times Supercoppa Italia, was awarded the Golden Boy and Bravo award, and was elected to the FIFA FIFPro World XI squad and UEFA in 2015. Pogba plays regularly for the national team, last time in the Euro final against Portugal.

2. United needs midfielder as salt
Last season, United finished under Van Gaal in fifth place in the Premier League, however on the field, a team was average. In all statistics in which United as a team failed, Pogba dominated in Juventus. French player would be the best of all midfielder in the team.

3. Versatility
United is in the position of midfielder several players who at this post are not actually created – Rooney, Young, and Fellaini. Mourinho confirmed that Wayne Rooney will never be underneath the halfback and moves the striker.
If Pogba arrived, played by right under English striker and supported him in the attack. Alternatively, it would be a direct replacement. He can play equally well in the position of attacking and defensive midfielder.

4. Versatility
Pogba with his height of 1.92 meters dominates in aerial duels. In Series’ A  last season, he won average 9 duels beyond the game, while the season average is six won duels. French midfielder would bring into United game progressive, aggressive football, which is recently missed in the midfield of English club.

5. The top, top player

The sudden transfer of Paul Pogba from Old Trafford in 2012 Sir Alex Ferguson commented with words: “Pogba signed a contract with Juventus a long time ago. It is sad. To be honest, I do not think we showed us enough respect.  I am quite happy that if they carry on that way, they’re probably better doing it away from us.”

Four years have passed, and former United chief certainly regrets that this player did not maintain in the club. Mourinho knows that the French player is an experienced player, who dominates his position, controls the air duels as Fellaini, has the shooting abilities of Rooney and defensive quality  Michael Carrick in his prime.

£ 100 million pounds in 2016 for a 23-year-old player a huge amount of money, but honestly, would we really be surprised, if that transfer takes place?
